What it does

• Capture a passage by photographing the page. The text is read on your device; you choose the sentences to keep.
• Add a book by scanning its barcode, or enter your copy’s details yourself.
• Cite it properly: share a passage as formatted text in Harvard, APA or Chicago style, or as an image card.
• Take it with you: export to Markdown, plain text, CSV, JSON or PDF, or keep a copy in a Markdown notes vault.
• Keep it safe with an optional backup to your own iCloud, or a single archive file you keep yourself.

Private by design

There is no account and no tracking. Your library stays on your device. When you look a book up, only its ISBN, or its title and author, goes to public library catalogues. Read the privacy policy.
